Written, performed, recorded and produced by Alessandro Bartolena in 2014, Abyssing is a small collection of experimentations and improvisations produced after the first EP Wounds (2013), captured through a digital recorder with a maximum limit of 2 stereo tracks.

The two tracks Abyssing I and Abyssing II build a compact and short narrative composed of dark atmospheres, sometimes cold shadows, sometimes sharp and incisive lights. As in other works of The Ritual Sphinx project we find strong digital experimentation, always searching for a limit to infiltrate, cross and explore. This is the short story of the EP, a quick excursion into the vortex of an Abyss.

This release completes a trilogy of EPs released by EVES in recent years, so we offer this listening sequence following the order of the musician’s production:
